ORDERING AND SHIPPING INFORMATION

IF YOU NEED THE MUSIC BY A SPECIFIC DATE please let us know when placing your order. We use this information to determine how to best ship the items you order to arrive when you need them. "As soon as possible" (ASAP) requests will be handled as OVERNIGHT DELIVERY with drop ship charges from each publisher if the item is not in stock.
SHIPPING
SHIPPING IS NOT FREE. The on-line shopping cart cannot calculate the shipping charges because we charge the actual freight cost plus a small handling charge for the boxes, etc. Freight is charged by the shipping method, weight, and destination. The shipping charges will be included on the invoice which is always included in the box with the items that are shipped. We will happily provide a shipping charge estimate if you call or send us an email prior to shipping.
Most items are shipped by UPS which will not deliver to post office boxes.
Shipping to
Overseas shipping can be either by UPS or by mail. UPS shipping, while more expensive, can be tracked en route and music lost in shipment will be replaced. Shipping by mail (including Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation) cannot be tracked en route and music lost in shipment will not be replaced.
All duties, import fees, VAT, etc., are the responsibility of the person placing the order or receiving the goods.
RETAIL ORDERS - We normally wait until a retail order is complete before we ship it. This reduces your shipping costs. EXCEPTIONS: (1) an item is temporarily out of stock at the publishers - we will indicate this on the invoice for the other items and will ship and invoice the missing item when it is available, (2) you direct us to ship items we have in stock immediately and to ship other items when they are in stock, or (3) you indicate that some items are needed by a specific date and other items can be shipped later.
DEALER ORDERS – We normally ship as much of the order as we can immediately and backorder and ship the remaining items as they are available. If the order is marked “SHIP COMPLETE” we will hold the order until we can ship all items at one time. If the order is marked “DO NOT BACKORDER” we will ship what is available and cancel the remainder of the order.
In all cases you are invoiced for only those items included in that shipment. Backordered items are invoiced when they are shipped.
RETURNS
Only the following items are returnable:
· single copies identified at the time of ordering as being for review
· defective merchandise
· merchandise damaged in shipping
Please call to obtain a return authorization number which must be on all packages containing
returned material.
Items returned without a return authorization WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT and will
not be returned to the sender.
PAYMENT
Items paid for by credit card are charged at the time of shipping. A courtesy invoice is enclosed with the shipment for your records showing what was charged.
Items purchased for review are paid for when shipped and an invoice enclosed. You are responsible for the cost of shipping review items in both directions even if all items are returned. Items must be returned in saleable condition within 30 days of the invoice date with a copy of the invoice. We will send a Credit Memo when we receive returned items that are in like-new condition; damaged or marked items will not be credited and will be destroyed.
Payment for items purchased on account is due to be received by the Due Date shown on the Sales Invoice.
All balances not received by the Due Date shown on the Sales Invoice are subject to
a $5.00 Late Charge and an 18% APR Interest Charge. The Late Charge covers the
cost of printing, reviewing, and mailing statements and notices to customers
with overdue balances. The Interest Charge covers the cost of borrowing money
so we can pay our suppliers on time.
